Pratt VC is looking to invest in 5 or 6 ventures over the next 12 months of between $25,000 and $1,000,000 per venture. We're looking for partners in that investment. We consider this an investment in our community, and we're interested in talking with people who are ready to join us.

We're interested in ventures that have their primary business office in Arkansas, with a bias toward NW Arkansas.  In fact … we like Fayetteville the best. We have some basic requirements for ventures we're prepared to consider:

• A venture’s specific market must be clearly defined and readily reached.
• All ventures will have demonstrable competitive advantage in their identified markets.
• Each venture’s entrepreneur(s) will possess the experience and temperament to start and manage their venture.

These basics serve to protect our investors, and to make sure that our entrepreneurs have a good chance of success. In this economy, we want to be community oriented. We want to have our money here where we can actually see it doing good.
